3rd Annual "Never Back Down" Toy Drive
August 8, 2011
Our third annual toy drive will be on August 8, 2011, the day after Sean's 13th birthday (due to hospital scheduling). John, myself and a few others will be distributing toys on the oncology floor at Children's Memorial Hospital. On August 8th, the day after Sean's 13th Birthday, we delivered OVER 700 TOYS to the Oncology floor at Children's Memorial Hospital in Chicago!!! In the summer of 2012, the hospital will be moving to a brand new building at a new location making this the last toy drive we will have in the existing hospital. It was bittersweet knowing that although we will no longer be able to visit a place with so many memories, future patients will be able to benefit from the newer building and all of the upgrades it will have. Next year we will have our first toy drive in the new hospital and look forward to continuing to show our support for the children being treated there.
As in prior years, we were accompanied by relatives and close friends who played an invaluable role in collecting, delivering and distributing so many toys. The timing of the toy drive benefits the patients in a special way each year because it's a long time since the previous Christmas when most organizations typically make toy donations. The hospital is running low on toys to give to patients around this time of year but we are there to make sure their stock is replenished to serve these special children. We were able to make sure all of the patients on the 4th floor were able to pick a toy and had hundreds of toys left to fill toy chests in various areas of the hospital. These toy chests are used on a daily basis to brighten the day of a child who is trying to get well.
Thank you to all who donated toys this year and helped collect them. Such an event would not be possible without the generousity and dedication of so many to show our support for such inspirational children. Thank you also to Darrin Bauer and Family, from Arnie Bauer GMC, for providing a truck to get the toys downtown!

Our 2nd Annual "Never Back Down" Toy Drive was a Huge Success Once Again!!
On August 6th, the day before Sean's 12th Birthday, we delivered OVER 700 TOYS to the Oncology floor at Children's Memorial Hospital in Chicago!!!
For this year's event we were once again accompanied by relatives and close friends who played an invaluable role in collecting, delivering and distributing so many toys. When we visited the hospital we found that they were almost completely out of toys to give to patients, so our timing could not have been better. We were able to make sure all of the patients on the 4th floor were able to pick a toy and had hundreds of toys left to fill toy chests in various areas of the hospital. These toy chests are used on a daily basis to brighten the day of a child who is trying to get well.

Our 1st Annual “Never Back Down” Toy Drive Was A Huge Success!
On August 7th, Sean’s 11th birthday, we brought over 800 toys to Children’s Memorial Hospital! We were accompanied by 6 relatives and close friends who helped collect, deliver and distribute the toys for this year’s event.
All of the patients on the oncology floor at Children’s Memorial had the opportunity to pick out a toy and the rest were donated to toy chests throughout the hospital. These toy chests are found in various parts of the hospital where children undergo procedures, treatments and check-ups. Children are able to pick a toy from the toy chest to make the day a little bit better.
Thank you to all who donated toys and helped collect them. The hospital staff said this was the largest toy donation they have ever had on the oncology floor! We would like to give a special thank you to Kim Jansto and all of the team moms who helped rally the Falcons who donated a ton of toys and Nancy Sink and the staff at Peace Community Church who helped spread the word and offered their facility as a drop off location. We would also like to thank Vince Adamo. He operates the Falcons website, and has been updating it with event information. He is also putting together the www.seandugganfoundation.org website.

Chili’s Profit Nights
July 29th - September 19th
We have set up profit nights every Tuesday and Thursday from July 20th - September 19th and also Saturday, August 15, Saturday, August 29th, Sunday, September 6th and Saturday, September 19th. Everyone who goes into Chili’s to eat, (dine-in or carry-out) with the voucher, Chili’s will donate 10% of the sale to Children’s Memorial Hospital Brain Tumor Research in memory of Sean Duggan.
The stores that will accept the vouchers are in New Lenox, IL, Homer Glen, IL, Orland Park, IL and State & Ontario, Chicago, IL.
